CAP Tulsa, a community action agency, is focused on interrupting the cycle of poverty. We provide high-quality early education services for young children, as well as a range of supportive services designed to improve the economic status of their parents.
CAP Tulsa is the largest anti-poverty agency in Oklahoma. We believe every family and every child deserves the same opportunity for success. This is achieved by empowering low-income families with the education and tools they need to break the cycle of poverty. CAP Tulsa provides the support and guidance with early childhood education and comprehensive enrichment programs for the entire family.
CAP Tulsa specifically focuses on a two generation approach that aims not only to prepare young children for future success in school, but also their parents through programs designed to increase parenting skills, employability and earning potential.CAP Tulsa serves more than 2,000 of Tulsa’s low-income children in 10 early childhood centers across the county and through the Learning@Home home visitation program. CAP employs more than 630 staff members and coordinates the work of 100 volunteers and interns.
