Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Factory Cost Analyst, you will provide financial and control expertise to the Electrification Installation Products "ELIP" plant in Jonesboro, AR, benchmarking KPIs while working with other finance professionals to understand the drivers of financial performance, identifying trends relevant to the business. You will study business performance, including financial modelling to forecast the impacts and risks, and recommend areas for continuous improvement. This role will need to be able to work in person at our Jonesboro, AR facility (#LIOnsite). Please note having experience in a factory setting is critical for success in this role.
Help to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting documents and presentations
Analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends. Prepare financial modeling for various "what if" scenarios and the overall impact to the factory. Special focus areas: product/business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/underabsorption analysis, and inventory analysis
Communicate information to relevant stakeholder groups to support corrective action plans
Optimize performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplication and coordinating information requirements
Establish and oversee processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information
Maintain audit trails and documentation for future audits and reviews
Ensure timely and efficient communication with controllers and the relevant peers to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement
